Security Bollards and Posts
Removable steel bollards have a wide range of applications including ram protection (accidental and deliberate) for showrooms and factory doors, out-of-hours access control of private parking areas, theft prevention from garages and vehicle storage areas. Bollard sleeves can be installed in new concrete footings or by core drilling existing concrete.
Electric Security Fencing and Detection Systems
Electric fencing is a reliable and effective method for perimeter security. Systems are generally 2.7metres high and consist of around 30 wires. Compulsory warning signs provide deterrence by warning would-be intruders that there is a real risk of receiving a sharp, regulated shock if the fencing is deliberately touched, tampered with or climbed. Wire fences (non-electric) can also incorporate a system to detect the close approach of an individual or significant direct vibration of the fence. A combination of wire fencing with detectors, topped with a section of electric fencing is a workable alternative.
Smoke Protection System
What a burglar can't see, he can't steal. The smoke protection system is integrated with an existing alarm system and fills a premises with 'dry' smoke within 20 seconds when an intruder is detected. The system keeps the smoke at maximum density for 20 - 30 minutes. 20 minutes airing is sufficient to remove the smoke which is non-toxic, odourless, and harmless to furnishings and stock. The system is particularly useful in speciality and exclusive shops, jewellers' shops, IT warehouses and shops and showrooms of all kinds.
Photoelectric Beam Sensors
Photoelectric beam systems are especially designed for outdoor, perimeter security and are integrated into an existing alarm system. These 'intelligent' systems incorporate at least four separate beams which work together in a unique way to detect intrusion across the area covered by the beams. The distance between sensors can be up to 200 metres and the system adjusts its sensitivity to contend with fog, heavy rain, frost or snow. The sensor enclosures have anti-tamper devices built in.
